I’m excited to talk to you today about five things that you need to tell yourself every single day. Don’t let a day go by before you tell yourself these five things I’m going to give you. Sometimes we can get into negative self-talk, we can put ourselves down, and we can say, I’m not smart, or I’m not pretty or not good enough. I’m not where I want to be in life and that negative self-talk can have an impact on our results in life. Our mind is like a computer. If you don’t give the mind an instruction, it will play the images of the past. The mind will go back and continue to play the images of failure, the images of being heartbroken, or the images of being disappointed. Then the negative self-talk starts to kick in. We say I can’t ever do anything right or I can't accomplish the things that I want.
That negative talk will start to influence our results and influence our behavior. So today I want to give you five things to tell yourself every single day. These are empowering statements that I use to get myself going every day. Every time I get against a rock and hard place and I’m in a tough spot, I start saying these things to myself and a reinvigorate myself. These statements re-energize me and empowers me to keep going forward and doing great things.
